Better Together – Building Connected Ecosystems

Our Mission
Better Together is a nonprofit based in Prishtina, Kosova, connecting local and international creative ecosystems – starting with music. We strengthen emerging networks, foster collaboration, and build structures that allow communities to thrive independently.

What We Do
We design ecosystems, not isolated projects. By identifying structural gaps, connecting actors, and creating sustainable frameworks, we enable musicians, cultural spaces, and institutions to coordinate, share knowledge, and grow.

Music as a First Step
Music is our starting point: we support original music through digital visibility platforms, touring frameworks, knowledge-sharing formats, and cross-border partnerships with Switzerland. Community Events, workshops, and mentoring bring together local and international actors for learning, collaboration, and inspiration.

How We Work

  • Infrastructure: Build platforms, tools, and frameworks to increase visibility and coordination.
  • Network Architecture: Turn informal relationships into structured, collaborative networks.
  • Knowledge & Research: Collect, analyze, and share data to guide ecosystem development and inform decisions.
  • International Exchange: Connect Kosovar and Swiss actors through workshops, mentoring, panels, and performances.

Our Approach
We act as connectors, facilitators, and architects of collaboration. Success means ecosystems can self-organize, sustain themselves, and continue thriving without ongoing NGO intervention.

Overview Projects 2026-28


1. ThisIsKosova.Art – Digital Visibility Platform

Central hub for Kosova’s music ecosystem. It makes musicians, bands, and cultural spaces visible, connects actors systematically, and provides access to opportunities, collaborations, and Swiss stakeholders via International Exchange (IE).

2. Kosova Original Music Tour (K.O.M.T.)

A national touring framework linking cities, venues, and artists with a focus on original music.

Concerts, community events, school programs, and knowledge-sharing formats are embedded within the tour, strengthening visibility, performance experience, professional development, and cross-city collaboration.

Swiss artists participate through International Exchange (IE), while selection and structure are guided by Research & Mapping (R&M) insights.

Cross-Cutting Strategic Frameworks
3. Research & Mapping (R&M)

Provides the analytical backbone for all initiatives. It documents musicians, bands, cultural spaces, and Swiss connections to create transparency, identify gaps, and enable evidence-based, scalable ecosystem development.

4. International Exchange (IE)

Acts as a strategic connector between Kosova and Switzerland. IE integrates Swiss collaborators, mentors, and partners across all projects, while also linking Better Together to external platforms, festivals, conferences, and media formats.

This creates reciprocal learning, strengthens cross-border collaboration, and amplifies visibility and impact in a structured and sustainable way.

This includes collaborations with existing platforms such as the Prishtina Music Conference (PMC), as well as other festivals, media formats, and industry initiatives.
